Buurlandenreiscommissie (BRC)
Organise an unforgettable trip for the first and second year students to Belgium or Germany with a committee existing of four to five second year students. Visiting companies and universities is the main focus, but it is alternated with cultural visits and doing fun things together! In 2020 this trip was to Germany for the first time. This committee is for second years only. This year the BRC consists of: Simo, Joey, Sylke, Veerle, Julia and Kane.

Sibling Day Committee
This is the day where you can bring your siblings to the university and show them what you are actually doing at the university. You can show them the lab, do a cool experiment and show them around the building. You can be as creative as you want! This committee is for second years or higher. This year the Sibling Day Committee consists of: Anne, Niels, Thijs, Britt and Chemée.

CollectCie
The CollectCie is a relatively new committee that collects money for a chosen charity. What charity? That’s all up to you! Together with your committee members you spend your time collecting as much money as possible for the chosen charity. Anything is possible: a great lunch, a lottery, a sponsor run or something even more epic! This year the CollectCie consists of: Bonny, Sven, Thomas and Sven.

Chimica Editorial
The Chimica Editorial does everything concerning the CDL’s magazine: the Chimica Acta Lugduni. The committee strives to keep the magazine of high quality, containing articles about activities, scientific articles, photo pages and updates on the CDL. As an editor of this magazine you learn a lot about InDesign and Photoshop and you are spending your time processing the written articles of others. The Chimica comes out three times a year for CDL members and there is one special edition for ‘buitenleden’. Throughout the year, the committee is not very busy. However, when a deadline is coming close, the committee will have a ‘klusessie’ (working session) at the boardroom to put the magazine together. This year the Chimica Editorial consists of: Lise, Chemée, Rianne, Zoë, Léon, Cesar, Jasmijn and Jim.

Lecture Response Committee (CRC)
This is the study-related committee where you can give feedback on the ongoing lectures of MST, whilst enjoying a free lunch! The committee comes together twice per period, halfway through and at the end after the exams. This is the moment to take the lectures and the education to a higher level!

Dies Committee
The Dies is the birthday of the CDL. CDL was founded on the 20th of may 1926 and every year this is the cause for a great celebration! The Dies committee is responsible for organising all fun activities concerning the dies weeks of the Chemisch Dispuut Leiden. The committee can be as creative as they want. In the past few years these activities have always returned: a barbecue, the dies reception, a party and the election general members meeting. This year the Dies Committee consists of: Romy, Flore, Amber, Stan, Maarten, Ilse and Sven.

Extra Activities Committee (ExtrAkCie)
The ExtrAkCie consists of four to five members who organise activities for all CDL members. The two main events are the annual CDL Christmas Dinner and the ExtrAkCie Football Tournament. Next to these activities the ExtrAkCie has organised some great activities over the years, such as a Casino Night, Laser Tag, a Pool Night, a Karaoke Pubquiz and so much more! The freshmen committee is a collaboration between the CDL and the TG. This committee consists of six freshmen who organise activities for other freshmen. Examples of these fun activities are bowling, ice skating, going for a pubcrawl, a falafel lunch and a BBQ at the end of the year. Every year the committee organises about four activities to improve the bond between the freshmen. This year the EC consists of: Rosanna, Max, Stip, Lena, Kris, Pepijn, Sven and Linde.

It is all about the first impression. And as a member of this committee you will certainly make a first impression! This committee is a collaboration between the CDL and the TG. You will be organising a weekend in the summer vacation for all the new MST-freshmen and show them all the great things Leiden, Delft, CDL, TG and MST has to offer. During this weekend there are a lot of fun activities during the day and great parties in the evenings in order to create a bond between the new freshmen. This is an intensive committee consisting of six second year students who work closely together. This results in a very close group of freshmen! This committee is for second years only. This year the EJWcie consists of: Stijn, Romy, Joost, Anna, Thijs, Iris, Jisca and Chemée.

FeminiCie
The FeminiCie is the women's committee of the CDL and organises activities for the other women of the CDL (or boys who wear a dress! ;)) With ladies from other years, you can organise fun activities, such as a sushi workshop, a pole dancing class, a chocolate lunch or visiting an escape room. Next to these activities the FeminiCie organises their annual Ladies Career Night. This is a dinner where ladies from companies in our field are invited to talk about their job and their experiences of being a working woman in this field. This is a great way to network. This year the FeminiCie consists of: Dounia, Diane, Rianne, Lisa, Kayleigh and Anne.

Foreign Excursion Committee
Once every two years the CDL organizes a wonderful trip to a location outside of Europe. The duration of this trip is about 2,5 weeks, therefore this trip usually takes place in the summer holiday. In 2018 a group of 25 students (third year bachelor or older) have travelled to the wonderful Japan. The foreign excursion committee makes sure the trip will be both fun and educational, therefore excursions to companies and visits to universities will be organized. As a committee you will have the freedom not only to choose the destination(s), but also to decide the program. This year's Lustrum Trip Committee consists of: Jasmijn, Sven, Mart, Evie, Lise and Thomas.

A picture says more than a thousand words! As a member of this committee you get the chance to take pictures with CDL’s ‘spiegelreflexcamera’ at all the CDL activities. Also during the parties we have the party cam to take great pictures of all the partying people.

The Multiple Day Excursion Committee (or in Dutch: MexCie) organizes a trip of several days to a destination somewhere in Europe. This trip is at the same time as the trip to Belgium for the second year students. The committee consists of 5 third year bachelor or master students and the trip will have a maximum of 25 students. As a committee you will have the freedom not only to choose the destination(s), but also to decide the program. During the days there will be education related visits to companies, musea and universities and during the nights it is time for cultural activities. Last time, the foreign trip was organised for the third time and the students visited Berlin. This committee is for third years and older. This year the MexCie consists of: Lisa, Zoë, Jasper, Yvo, Rebecca, Matijn and Anne.

Master Committee (MaCo)
The mastercommittee (MaCo) is an unique collaboration between the CDL and S.V.LIFE. It is not simply a collaboration between master students from the masters Chemistry and Life Science & Technology but also an internationally oriented committee: it was the first committee of the CDL and S.V.LIFE in which international students took part! This made the committee a mixed group of people, which only turned out to be very positive! The committee strives to organize activities that brings all the master students together and strengthen their (chemical) bond. We can hereby think of two different types of activities: social activities and career activities. This committee is for master students only. This year's MaCo consists of Jana, Kim, Marco, Veronique, Heleen and Jim.

Ouderejaarsweekendcommissie (OJWcie)
The OJWcie organises thé weekend for second years and older. To make this weekend epic, there has to be a nice location and activities and transport has to be arranged as well. You will be preparing a lovely dinner for the participants and enough food and drinks for the rest of the days. The weekend takes place in April and has about 40 participants. This year the OJWcie went to Warnsveld. Be creative with your budget so the trip can be as cheap as possible! This year the OJWcie consists of: Brett, Manne, Martijn, David and Kane.

Ouderdag committee
The ouderdag committee is a committee for only freshmen. This committee organises a day in which the parents of all the first years can come to Leiden. This day will be about telling the parents what studying is like and what their child does in a day. This year the ouderdag committee consists of: Parsa, Ole, Agata, Yisan and Julian.

Sports Committee (SportCie)
The Freshmen Committee is not the only committee for freshmen the CDL and the TG collaborate on. In 2016 the SportCie was established. This committee consists of six freshmen who will keep their other freshmen fit throughout the year! They will organise the annual freshmen sports tournament. Next to this activity, the SportCie organises another activity as well. This activity can be whatever you want. The last three years this was a beer pong tournament, but feel free to do something else! This year the SportCie consists of: Els, Tijmen, Finn, Chris, Jasmijn, Emma, Kane and Jorn.

Tappersgilde
The tap committee is responsible for the drinks on Thursday at the Science Club once every four weeks. The committee members will make sure no one has a dry mouth! The committee is responsible for opening and closing the Science Club and for cleaning it afterwards. Next to the regular drinks there are also some theme drinks every year. Be as creative as you can and make a great poster in order to have a great turn up!

It is totally up to you what you want to make. The TraktaatCie also organises the annual TraktaatCie dinner, with a different theme every year, where all of the food is home-made by the committee! This year the TraktaatCie consists of: Brennan, Jesper, Mark, Lisa, Luka and Julian.
