Welcome
Chemisch Dispuut Leiden (CDL) is the study association for the bachelor Molecular Science & Technology (MST) at Leiden University and TU Delft and the master Chemistry at Leiden University. The CDL was founded on the 20th of May 1926. The association organises many academic, career related and social activities throughout the year, including company visits, lectures, parties and study trips to other countries. The room or 'hok' of the CDL is located in the old Gorlaeus building and is open every day from 08:45 a.m. till 05:00 p.m. So come by to have a free cup of coffee or tea, to ask your questions to the CDL board, to see which activities are organised or just to relax and chat with your fellow students! If you are interested in joining the association you can send an email to bestuur@chemischdispuutleiden.nl or drop by at the CDL room!
Activities
The CDL has many committees which organise great activities throughout the year. From the introduction weekend, to study trips and special master activities. Take a look at the calender to see which activities are coming up! Via the CDL you can also get in touch with prospective employers in several different ways. Check out the career page to see interesting vacancies and learn more about what the CDL has to offer you!
Education
Education is an important aspect of the CDL. The CDL is highly involved in developing our studies and keeping an eye on the quality of our education. This is done together with the Education Committees, which you can always contact to give feedback about the study. If you want more information about the program, check out the programs page! On top of that CDL provides exercise material for most courses.
